The title is misleading ... this really is not an MC story. Yes, he is in an MC but doesn't want to be, talks often of just getting on his bike and riding away and leaving them to their own devices. He doesn't want to be there. There really is not a story about the MC here. It is a story of Zane and Sasha, and Asa (an ex that now has set her sights on Zane. It was a book that took a while to finish, it was hard to keep my interest in the book. Also, the book ends at 51% on my kindle and there is a second 'bonus' book that was just 'eh' also. Sometimes the internal dialog went on and on that I would forget what they were talking about and had to go back to look for the previous sentence to try to figure out what was going on. At times I couldn't believe the direction of the book -- it has to believable. When he is talking about the club member that passed away - he says he only met him once -- let me get this straight - you are the head of the club but you only met the member 1 time? Its not like the member was from a different city. How many people are in this club, thousands? When Asa tells Zane some important news, at first he believes it. Come on, you are a grown man, you couldn't figure out that she was lying to you? --- Or when Zane is in a bar with Sasha, Asa shows up and interacts with both. Yet Zane decides that Sasha could help him out of a sticky situation with Asa by pretending to be a therapist doing couples therapy between Zane and Asa --- WTH -- Asa saw them both - together - in a bar - where Zane and Sasha had gone into the back room together. Your are supposed to believe that Asa, when meeting Sasha 'the therapist' notices that she is familiar and doesn't think anything is fishy with this? And the whole thing that happened to bring Zane and Asa together going to couples therapy ... silly. Some of the things that Zane says, or thinks, aren't very alpha or what you expect from someone that was the head of the MC ... example: he sees two the club members sitting in a bar together and he thinks to himself they look like an old married couple and how cute it was. This book has a lot of good reviews, maybe it was just me - I cant say that I would not recommend since others must see something that I missed ... sorryProduct details

an ok read
Another great book by Claire St. Rose! This MC book was not like her others. The character of Zane was not a story of a dark man but of a bad boy that was put into a position he didn't want. Sasha is a smart good girl that has a taste for a bad boy. They are a unique couple that surives danger with a crazy ex. They both find what they weren't looking for and a little of what they were. I highly recommend this book.
I voluntilary received and read this ARC book.
From the moment I started this book I couldn't put it down. The storyline is easy to follow. You will love the characters, Zane and Sasha, are everyday people just like you or I. They encounter everyday problems such as a crazy Ex. Overall, this is a easy read and a real page turner. It certainly deserves a four star rating. Don't let the fact that I don't give it five sway you, I reserve five stars for books who would win a Pulitzer. This book will make the top ten list in no time.
I loved this book. Zane and Sasha had great chemistry. I have read several books now from this author and I love her. I received an ARC for an honest review.
Claire St. Rose is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. Her stories are always a must read if you need that something special to get a break from the stresses of everyday life.

This was a really good read. I didn't want to put it down read it on my lunch and breaks. She was a good girl trying to do right by her mom. He was the bad boy who walked into the flower shop where she worked. She had a knack for reading people and what she read spoke louder than words. He wanted her and was going to get her no matter what. He definitely wasn't letting her get away.
